Phase loss and sequence in one DIN-rail package
The Omron K8DT-PM2CN is a three-phase monitoring relay that catches both phase loss and phase sequence faults from a single 380-480VAC supply. It saves a panel slot compared to stacking separate loss and rotation monitors. The SPDT relay output is rated 5A at 250VAC, enough to drop a motor starter coil or signal a PLC input directly without an interposing relay.
Adjustable delay and DIN-rail fit
The trip delay is adjustable from 0.1 to 30 seconds via a front-panel potentiometer — set it short enough to catch a dropped phase before the motor stalls, long enough to ride through a momentary sag that would nuisance-trip a fixed-time relay. Operating range is -20°C to 60°C, so it lives in an unheated cabinet without issues.
