The Omron K8DT-TH2CA is an active-production temperature monitoring relay from the K8DT series. It accepts thermocouple or RTD inputs and switches a SPDT relay output rated at 5A @ 250VAC.
Ratings and wiring fit
Supply voltage is 100 to 240 VAC. No built-in delay; the relay trips immediately on out-of-range temperature. DIN-rail mount, rated for -20 °C to 60 °C ambient. The SPDT contact is rated for 5 A resistive at 250 VAC, which covers most pilot-duty signal switching or direct small interposing relays. If you are switching a motor contactor coil, verify the inrush does not exceed this rating.
