Temperature Monitoring Relay for TC/RTD
The K8DT-TH2CD is a temperature monitoring relay from the Omron K8DT series. It accepts input from a thermocouple or RTD probe (push-in terminal style) and provides a SPDT relay output rated 5A at 250VAC. The unit operates on a 24VAC/DC supply and mounts on a standard DIN rail. The relay switches instantaneously (no built-in delay) when the measured temperature crosses the setpoint. The contact rating of 5A at 250VAC covers most alarm or load-control circuits; derate appropriately for inductive loads.
