The K8DT-VS2CD is a K8DT series voltage sensing relay from Omron, monitoring AC/DC voltage from 1 to 150V. It fits on a DIN rail and switches a single SPDT relay contact rated 5A at 250VAC. The adjustable delay from 0.1 to 30 seconds lets you filter out transient sags or surges before triggering an alarm or shutdown. Supply is 24VAC/DC, so it shares a common control transformer with your PLC.
What the ratings mean for fit
Trip range spans 1–150V AC/DC, covering both low-voltage DC (24V, 48V) and standard AC line voltages (120V). The SPDT output breaks or makes a circuit — use it for undervoltage lockout or overvoltage alarms. Delay range gives sequencing flexibility for motor starts or capacitor bank switching. Operating temperature of –20 to 60°C fits most control cabinets without derating.
