Where the MY4H-US-DC24 sits in a control panel
The MY4H-US-DC24 is Omron's MY Series general purpose relay in a 4PDT (four-pole double-throw) contact arrangement, built for socket-mounted panel wiring rather than direct PCB soldering. Its 14-pin tab termination drops into a standard MY-series octal-style socket (socket code G), so a spare relay can be swapped in a minute without disturbing the field wiring — the right shape when a coil or contact bank fails mid-shift.
Reading the contact and coil ratings
The 3 A contact rating covers both AC and DC loads: 3 A at 120V AC and 3 A at 24V DC on the same silver-alloy bank, with motor-rated duty up to 1/6 hp at either 120V AC or 240V AC. Coil voltage is fixed at 24V DC, so the relay is energised directly from a 24V DC control rail without an interposing relay or dropping resistor — the same rail that feeds the PLC outputs or sensor power supply. Enclosed sealing keeps dust and flux off the contacts, and there is no mechanical flag indicator or push-to-test button on the body — status has to be read at the socket or at the downstream load.
Sourcing the MY4H-US-DC24 against the BOM
For a panel builder this means the part stays in the BOM without a forced board respin, but volume pricing and current availability are confirmed at quote time.
