What this supply does for the NJ rack
The Omron NJ-PA3001 is the rack power supply for the NJ series controllers, delivering 5 VDC at 6 A (30 W) from a 100–240 VAC input. Mounts on DIN rail with screw terminals for the AC input and DC output. Rated 0 °C to 55 °C ambient, which is standard for control cabinet placement without supplementary cooling.
How it compares with the CQM1PA216
The CQM1PA216 also delivers 5 VDC at 6 A (30 W) but is designed for the CQM1H series, not the NJ rack. Same output capacity, different backplane pinout and mounting footprint. A panel originally built around a CQM1PA216 cannot drop an NJ-PA3001 in without rewiring the rack power connector — the physical connection and isolation differ. If you are sourcing a replacement for a CQM1-PA203 (3.6 A / 18 W), the NJ-PA3001 provides more headroom, but again the rack interface is different. For a true NJ-series system this is the correct module.
