The Omron NJ501-1300 is an active machine automation controller from the NJ501 series. It brings EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, and USB interfaces to the panel, running at 100 Mbps. Rated for up to 2560 I/O points and 32K words of memory, it handles motion control for up to 16 axes. It expands to 40 modules across 3 racks and runs on 5V DC with a battery backup to hold parameters. SYSMAC Studio software programs it in ladder or structured text.
Mounts on a standard DIN rail. The same footprint as the NJ501-1400, so if you're swapping one for the other, the panel wiring stays put. Communications are EtherCAT for motion and Ethernet/IP for the HMI or SCADA.
