HMI integration walkthrough
The Omron NS5-SQ00-V2 is a 5.7-inch STN touch screen HMI display with a 320 x 420 pixel resolution. That resolution is fine for basic operator panels — status screens, numeric entry, alarm lists — but don't expect sharp graphics or complex vector objects. The STN (Super Twisted Nematic) display type means narrower viewing angles and slower response than a TFT; fine for a stationary panel mounted at eye level, not for a mobile cart or a bright washdown area.
