What it is and what it does
The Omron NX-AD3608 is an active 4-channel analog input module in the NX series, built for DIN-rail mounting with spring-clamp terminals. Out here in the grease, those spring terminals are a blessing — no screwdriver needed when you're swapping a module on the route. It carries CE, cULus, C-Tick, KC, Lloyd, and NK approvals, so it'll pass inspection in most plants and marine applications.
How it compares to its sibling
If you've got NX-AD3604 on the BOM, this NX-AD3608 is a direct fit — same footprint, same termination, same approvals, same 4-channel analog spec. No rewiring needed; it drops right into the same panel slot. The only difference is the last digit in the order code.
