The Omron NX-AD4208 is an 8-channel analog input module. It mounts on a DIN rail and connects via spring terminals. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 55°C.
The NX-AD4208 has eight analog current inputs; the NX-AD4203 has four. Both use the same mechanical package, spring terminals, and approvals. You cannot drop an NX-AD4208 into a panel wired for the 4-channel version without adding field wiring and reconfiguring the I/O map.
Physically yes — same DIN rail footprint, same backplane interface, same spring terminal pitch. But the NX-AD4208 requires eight field inputs; a panel wired for four channels will leave four terminals unconnected. The I/O configuration in the CPU must also be updated to map eight input words instead of four.
