8-Channel Input Slice for NX Backplane
The Omron NX-ID4342 is an 8-channel digital input module that snaps onto a DIN rail as part of an NX-series remote or machine-mount I/O bank. Channel-to-channel isolation is 500 VAC, so adjacent inputs can run on different field power supplies without ground-loop coupling — useful when mixing 24 VDC sensors and dry-contact limit switches on the same slice.
Spring-Terminal Wiring and Panel Fit
Termination is spring-clamp, not screw — push in a ferruled stranded wire and the cage grips without re-torquing.
Active Production, No Direct Successor
Approvals include CE, cULus, C-Tick, KC, Lloyd, and NK — the last two cover marine and offshore installations, so this module can go into shipboard or platform automation panels without a separate marine-grade variant.
