What it is and what it does
The NX-TC2406 is an active-production temperature control module in Omron's NX series, offering two analog inputs for temperature sensor signals and two voltage outputs rated for driving external SSRs. It mounts on a DIN rail and uses spring-cage wiring, with agency approvals covering CSA, cUL, cULus, KC, NK, and UL.
How the ratings decide fit
The 2 analog inputs accept standard thermocouple or RTD signals (type not specified here, but typical for NX TC modules). The 2 voltage outputs are for external SSR gate drive, so you need an SSR bank per output channel. If your panel needs four independent temperature loops, the sibling NX-TC2407 has four voltage outputs while keeping the same 2-input architecture — same mechanical and electrical footprint, so a BOM change is wiring-only, no panel rework.
