The NX1P2-1040DT is an active NX-series PLC from Omron packing 24 digital inputs and 16 solid-state outputs on a 24VDC DIN-rail frame. It runs SYSMAC Studio, handles up to eight expansion modules, and communicates via RJ45 with optional fieldbus cards. No display on this unit — you'll be connecting a laptop for commissioning.
The NX1P2-1040DT provides 24 digital inputs and 16 solid-state outputs on the same 24VDC platform as the NX1P2-9024DT1, which has 14 digital inputs and 10 solid-state outputs.
Mounts on standard DIN rail. Powers from 24VDC. The RJ45 port handles programming and basic Ethernet comms; an option card slot gives you PROFINET, EtherCAT, or serial if the built-in port isn't enough. The 8-slot expansion bus takes remote I/O or specialty modules. Since there's no display, expect to have SYSMAC Studio on a laptop for all diagnostics and commissioning.
