Load matching and continuous current
The R88D1SN06FECT is rated for 600 W continuous output power with a 1.8 A rated current — this sets the thermal limit for the drive's output stage when driving an Omron servo motor of matching power class. The 1.8 A figure is the continuous RMS current the drive can deliver without exceeding its internal IGBT junction temperature at the rated ambient.
Supply voltage range and bus conditioning
AC input spans 323 V to 504 V, covering 400 V class three-phase supplies with tolerance for nominal 480 V line. The DC bus input range of 21.6 V to 26.4 V is for the control logic supply — not the main power stage — so the drive needs a separate 24 VDC control supply to power the encoder interface and safety logic while the main DC bus is charged from the AC line.
IP20 means it requires an enclosure with a door or cover; the drive itself is not sealed against dust ingress or washdown, so it belongs in a clean, dry cabinet with forced air circulation if the ambient exceeds 40 °C.
