Cabinet integration and thermal limits
IP20 enclosure means the drive is intended for installation inside a control cabinet — no washdown or outdoor exposure. The 90 mm width and 180 mm height fit standard 400 mm deep enclosures with clearance for cabling on the bottom entry. Operating range is 0 to 55 °C ambient. In a sealed cabinet with no forced airflow, internal temperature rise from the drive's own losses will push past 55 °C — budget a ventilation fan or derate the output if the cabinet is tightly packed.
Switching current and motor circuit sizing
The 15.7 A switching current is the continuous output the drive can deliver to the servo motor. This figure governs the motor cable cross-section and the branch circuit protection upstream — size the motor cable for at least 16 A at 230 V. The drive's supply voltage window is 22 to 26 V (likely the control logic supply, not the main power), so the 24 VDC control rail must stay within that band — a sag below 22 V will drop the drive offline.
