Motor ratings and fit
The Omron R88M1L5K030CBS2 is a 1S Series servo motor delivering 15.9 Nm of continuous torque at 3000 min⁻¹ output speed. That torque figure tells you the motor can hold a vertical load or accelerate a high-inertia roller without oversizing the frame — 15.9 Nm is roughly what a 1.5 kW induction motor produces at its shaft, but this servo holds it across the full speed range, not just at base speed. The 13.6 A rated current at 323–528 VAC input means the mating drive needs to supply that peak current continuously; check the drive's continuous current rating against this number, not the peak rating.
Integration notes
The motor measures 275 mm wide by 130 mm high by 130 mm deep — a compact cube that fits inside a standard NEMA 4X enclosure if you're building a washdown-rated cell. The 1S Series uses a 23-bit absolute encoder as standard, so no homing sequence on power-up if the drive retains position. Mounting is via the front flange; the pilot diameter and bolt pattern match the 1S frame dimensions, so swapping into an existing 1S installation is a direct mechanical fit.
