Power Supply for the Panel Rail
The Omron S82K-10024 is a 0.1 kW switched-mode power supply delivering 24V DC at 4.2 A from a universal 100-240V AC input. Rated for -10 to 60°C ambient, so it handles the heat inside a sealed panel as long as you leave some breathing space around the enclosure. Single-output design; no parallel or N+1 redundancy built in — spec it for the load it carries.
If you're holding a BOM line that calls out the S82K-10024, the mature status is worth a note: the part is still findable, but if you're doing a new design, check whether Omron's current S8VK or S8FS series covers the same 24V / 4.2 A footprint with a longer production horizon.
Integration Note
Body dimensions 91 x 75 x 145 mm — fits a standard DIN-rail footprint with room for a terminal block below. Spring-cage or screw terminals on the input and output; strip length around 8 mm for solid or ferruled stranded wire.
