15W DIN-rail power supply for control loops
The Omron S8VS-01524 is a 15-watt DIN-rail power supply delivering 24 VDC at 0.65 A from a universal 100–240 VAC input. That 0.65 A output is the hard limit for the load side — sized for a small PLC brick, a handful of 24 VDC relays, or a single sensor loop. The 15 W rating means the total load (volts × amps) must stay under that ceiling; derating for ambient temperature above the rated range is standard practice for any enclosed DIN supply.
DIN-rail mount, panel integration
The 100–240 VAC input range covers single-phase line voltages globally, so the same part works for a 120 V panel in the US or a 230 V line in Europe. No jumpers or taps to set — just land the line and neutral.
