I/O count and signal type for the BOM line
The SRT2-MD32ML is a mixed I/O module from the Omron SRT2 series, carrying 16 digital inputs and 16 solid-state outputs on a single DIN-rail mount unit. The 24VDC supply rail powers both the input sensing and the output switching — no separate field supply is needed for the output bank, which simplifies the panel wiring. Termination is via a rectangular connector, meaning the field wiring lands on a pre-made harness or a breakout board rather than individual screw terminals; this speeds replacement but requires the mating connector half to be on hand.
