What this module does
The Omron SRT2-OD08CL is a compact output module with 8 solid-state outputs, switched at 24VDC. It mounts on a DIN rail and terminates via screw terminals — no special tooling. What sets it apart from a typical cabinet module is its IP67 rating: dust-tight and waterproof, so it can sit directly on a machine frame near sensors or actuators, not just inside a sealed panel. That saves conduit or junction box runs on the line.
Installation notes
Supply is 24VDC, 0°C to 55°C. Screw terminals and DIN rail mount, IP67 rated.
