What it is
The Omron SRT2-ROF16 is a 16-point solid-state output module, screw-terminal terminated, mounted on a DIN rail. It belongs to the SRT2 series and is designed to switch DC or low-level AC loads without relay contacts—no coil noise, no arc wear, just a clean on/off via a solid-state switch.
Where it fits
Intended for C Series backplanes or I/O blocks. The 16 outputs are all solid-state, so it suits high-speed or high-cycle applications where relay bounce or contact life would be a problem. Panel layout: standard DIN rail footprint; 0°C to 55°C ambient means no extra ventilation in a typical cabinet but watch the thermal load if packed tight.
