The SRT2-VID08S-1: This little fella's an 8-point digital input module for Omron's C Series line. Runs on 24VDC, which is what you'll find in most cabinets out in the grease. It's rated for -10°C to 55°C, mounts on DIN rail, and terminates with screw terminals.
Screw terminals accept standard wiring; no special termination needed. The module snaps onto 35mm DIN rail. With approvals CE, CSA, and UL, it fits most plant requirements without extra paperwork.
