16 solid-state outputs means each channel switches a DC load without mechanical contacts — no contact bounce, no arc wear, and the module stays silent in operation. The 24VDC supply is common across Omron's SRT2 remote I/O family, so it shares the same backplane power as the input slices.
Compatibility with C Series and CJ1 PLCs
This module is designed for use with Omron C Series systems, which includes the CJ1 PLC family. The SRT2 remote I/O bus connects via the rectangular connector to the corresponding communications adapter; the module auto-negotiates the I/O map on power-up. No special configuration software needed for basic operation — the outputs map directly to the PLC's output word.
