PLC CPU for small-machine control
The Panasonic AFP0RC14RS is a compact FP0R-series PLC CPU with 8 digital inputs and 6 relay outputs, running on 24 VDC. It stores 12K words of program memory and can be expanded with up to three additional I/O modules, making it a fit for standalone machine control or a small cell within a larger line. Relay outputs handle up to 2 A per point typical for the FP0R family — suitable for direct switching of contactors, solenoids, and indicator lamps without external interposing relays. The 24 VDC supply is common across the FP0R range, so a single 24 V bus powers the CPU and expansion modules.
Panel fit and I/O count
Compared to the AFP0RC10RS (6 digital inputs, 4 relay outputs), the AFP0RC14RS adds two inputs and two relay outputs in the same FP0R footprint. If a panel was originally wired for the 10RS, the 14RS drops into the same DIN-rail slot and backplane — no rewiring needed for the existing I/O points; the extra two inputs and two outputs are simply available on the same terminal block layout.
Approvals and documentation
CE and cULus approvals are listed. The FP0R series is programmed via Panasonic's FPWINPRO7 software.
