The Panasonic AFP0RC16MP is a compact control-logic unit from the FP0R series, offering 8 digital inputs and 8 outputs — 4 configured for pulse output and 4 for PWM. It runs on a 24 VDC supply and communicates via RS-485, with 12K words of program memory and expandability up to 3 additional modules.
Compared to the AFP0RC16MT, which shares the same I/O count and memory, the AFP0RC16MP differs only in output type: the MP variant provides pulse and PWM outputs, while the MT variant provides transistor (sink) outputs. Both use RS-485 and the same 24 VDC supply, so a panel wired for the MT can accept the MP without rewiring — just verify the output load requirements match the pulse/PWM capability.
Mounts on DIN rail per the FP0R footprint. The RS-485 port allows daisy-chaining with other FP0R units or connection to a Modbus RTU network. Programming is done via FPWINPRO7 software. The unit is CE and cULus approved, covering common industrial compliance requirements.
