The AFP7Y32T is an output module in the Panasonic FP7 series, packing 32 solid-state outputs into a DIN-rail-mountable package. It terminates through a rectangular connector, so the wiring harness is prepped off-module and the whole assembly clicks into place on the rail — saves time when you're building a panel with a dozen FP7 slices.
Thirty-two solid-state outputs means you get 32 independent channels that switch without mechanical contacts — no coil wear, no contact bounce, and the switching life is essentially unlimited for the rated load. That matters on a high-cycle line where a relay would need replacement every few million cycles. Solid state also runs cooler in the cabinet, so you can pack modules tighter on the DIN rail without cooking the neighbors. The DIN-rail mount and rectangular connector are standard FP7 form factor, so it swaps in alongside input, counter, or motion modules on the same rail.
Integration Notes
The rectangular connector means the field wiring terminates on a separate harness connector, not directly on the module — so you can pull the module for replacement without disturbing the cabinet wiring. Works with any FP7 CPU or bus coupler in the same rack.
