How it compares to FP2-PP42

The FP2-PP42 is the 4-axis sibling in the same FP2 series, sharing the same backplane mount, approvals, and temperature range. The FP2-PP2 controls 2 axes; the FP2-PP42 controls 4 axes. Both use rectangular connectors and pulse outputs. If your panel was wired for FP2-PP42, the FP2-PP2 will physically fit the backplane but will not drive the extra axes — no rewiring needed for the two axes it does handle.
