Drop-in vs FP2-PP2
The FP2-PP42 shares the same backplane mounting, rectangular connector, approvals (CE, CSA, cULus, UL), and temperature range as the 2-axis FP2-PP2. The difference is axis count: 4-axis vs 2-axis. Wiring and physical footprint are identical, so it drops into a panel wired for FP2-PP2 without rewiring — but the control program must be updated to use the extra axes.
