I/O Module for FP2/FP2SH Backplanes
The FP2-XY64D2P is a combined Input, Output (I/O) Module for the Panasonic FP2 and FP2SH series programmable controllers. It provides 32 digital inputs and 32 solid state outputs in a single backplane-mounted unit, terminated via a rectangular connector. Rated for operation from 0°C to 55°C, it carries CE, CSA, cULus, and UL approvals, making it suitable for panels requiring North American and European compliance.
How It Compares to Sibling Modules
The FP2-XY64D2P combines 32 digital inputs and 32 solid state outputs in one module, whereas the FP2-X32D2 is a pure 32-input module and the FP2-Y32P is a pure 32-output module. If your panel needs both I/O types in a single slot, the FP2-XY64D2P saves a backplane position compared to using separate input and output modules.
Integration Notes
Mounts directly onto the FP2 or FP2SH backplane. The rectangular connector mates with the backplane's I/O bus; no screw terminals on the module itself. Plan for a separate terminal block or pre-wired harness for field wiring.
