Motion Control Module for FP Sigma Backplanes
The Panasonic FPG-PN8AN is an active-production Motion Control Module in the FP Sigma series, rated for 8-axis control. It mounts on the backplane and terminates via D-Sub connectors. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 55°C.
The 8-axis control counts the stepper or servo axes the module can command simultaneously—critical for gantry or multi-axis pick-and-place layouts. Backplane mounting means it plugs directly into the FP Sigma rack; it does not attach to DIN rail. D-Sub termination keeps the drive and encoder wiring on a compact connector that matches many standard cable assemblies.
