What this sensor is
FT-V25 is a through-beam photoelectric sensor from the FX-500 series. It comes with a 2-meter cable and handles -55°C to 80°C — wide enough for freezer lines or oven zones without derating. Through-beam means you need both emitter and receiver aligned; the payoff is maximum range and reliability in dusty or misty environments.
How it compares to NA2-N8-PN
The NA2-N8-PN has defined specs for supply, output, sensing distance, response, and IP rating. The FT-V25 record does not confirm its output, supply, or distance — verify your circuit. The temperature range alone is a differentiator: FT-V25 goes down to -55°C, while NA2-N8-PN stops at -10°C. For cold applications, the FT-V25 is the better fit.
