What the connection means on site
The UM 45-FLKS26: Screw connection on the field side — no special tool, no ferrule required if you're landing stranded wire. The flat-ribbon cable connector on the other side mates directly to a standard IDC header, so you can pre-wire the cabinet harness and plug the whole bundle in at once. 26 positions handle a full 24 VDC digital I/O slice or a mixed signal group.
