The 140DDO35300C is a Schneider Modicon Quantum automation platform DC discrete output module, providing 32 positive-logic (source) outputs at 24 V DC with a switching current of 16 A. Internal protection uses a 5 A fuse per group; the module carries CE marking and is certified to UL 508 and CSA C22.2 No 142.

This module occupies 2 output words in the Quantum backplane and drives 32 discrete loads — solenoids, contactor coils, indicator lamps — from a single 24 V DC field supply. Positive logic (source) means the output transistor switches the positive side of the load; the return is common. Each output point is fused at 3 A, with a group fuse rated 5 A per group. The absolute maximum output withstands a 56 V decaying pulse for 1.3 s, giving headroom for inductive kickback from small relays and valves.
