It combines a 25 A thermal-magnetic MCB (C-curve, 5–10× In magnetic trip) with an integrated 10 mA earth-leakage sensor, all in a 1P+N form factor that switches the phase and monitors the neutral.
The 10 mA earth-leakage threshold is the sensitive end of the RCBO range — it catches leakage currents that a 30 mA device would miss, making it the right choice for circuits where additional shock protection is specified (e.g., socket outlets in bathrooms or construction sites per BS 7671). The limitation class 3 rating means the RCBO limits let-through energy in a fault — reduces stress on downstream wiring and equipment compared to a class 2 device.
The RCBO is certified to IEC 61009-1 and IEC 61009-2-2 (the product standard for RCBOs), plus the UK variant BS EN 61009-1. The tropicalisation class 2 means the device is treated for operation in warm, humid environments (95% RH at 55 °C).
The upstream neutral is plug-on. Strip length is 14 mm for top connection, 13 mm for bottom. These matter when you are wiring a dense board — the 18 mm width leaves limited finger space, so pre-form the conductors.
