It protects a single outgoing circuit against both overload/short-circuit (thermal-magnetic trip, C-curve) and earth leakage (30 mA sensitivity), all in one DIN-rail unit that clips onto the standard 45 mm grid. Rated at 20 A at 50 °C, it handles typical lighting, socket outlet, and small appliance circuits in TN earthing systems. The 10 kA Icn breaking capacity at 240 V AC (50/60 Hz) means it can safely interrupt a fault current up to that level — sufficient for most residential and light commercial distribution boards where the prospective short-circuit current stays under 10 kA. Limitation class 3 (energy-limiting) means it restricts let-through energy on short-circuits, which helps with downstream device coordination.
At 18 mm wide (2 x 9 mm pitches) and 77.5 mm deep, it fits a standard distribution board without protruding beyond the enclosure depth. Height is 110 mm. IP20 rated, with IP40 in a modular enclosure — fine for dry indoor panels. Padlockable with a Ø 4 mm padlock for lockout/tagout during maintenance. ON/OFF indication is local on the toggle.
Compliance documentation is straightforward: the RCBO is certified to IEC 61009-1 and IEC 61009-2-2, the governing standards for combined RCD/MCBs. The white finish and tropicalisation class 2 suit moderate indoor environments up to 55 °C and 95% relative humidity.
