The BMI0703T06A: Feedback is absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface, so the drive knows rotor position at power-up — no homing sequence needed after a power cycle. Integrated EMC filter and natural convection cooling mean you can skip an external filter and fan in most cabinets, provided the mounting area has free air circulation. Shaft IP54 housing IP65 — the shaft seal handles splash, but the body is dust-tight and hose-down rated. Use separately sealed connectors if the cable entry sees direct washdown.
No brake, no second shaft — a clean mechanical build
No holding brake and no second shaft end. If your Z-axis needs a brake, you're adding an external one on the load side. The single untapped shaft end is 14 mm diameter by 30 mm long — plain for a clamp-on pulley or coupling. International standard flange — 70 mm square with a 60 mm pilot and 5.5 mm mounting holes. Centring collar is 2.5 mm deep. Drops into any frame with that 70 mm bolt pattern. Electrical connection via a PCB connector — no bulky flying leads. Plan your cable exit to match the connector orientation on the motor body.
