What this motor is and why a buyer sourcing it cares
The BMI0703T12A: Nominal torque on the 115V supply is 2.2 Nm; step up to 230V and it climbs to 2.9 Nm. That's the same wound stator, just different winding taps (or the drive's voltage headroom). The peak stall torque, though, is identical at 8.6 Nm regardless of line voltage — so short-cycle loads like a quick index will still hammer that peak. If your process lives in the continuous region, size for the lower number if your plant runs 115V.
Continuous stall torque is 3.4 Nm across 115–230V single phase. Back EMF constant is 54.44 V/krpm, stator inductance 2.28 mH, resistance 2.58 Ω. Rated IP protection: shaft IP54, housing IP65. Cooling is natural convection.
Motor flange 70 mm (2.8 in), centring collar 60 mm, mounting holes 5.5 mm — standard international flange pattern; shaft diameter 14 mm, keyed, 30 mm length. Radial force limit: 730 N at 1000 rpm, 400 N at 6000 rpm. The absolute multiturn Hiperface feedback eliminates the need for a home switch on power-up — the encoder remembers position over 4096 turns. That saves an input card and a sensor in a multi-axis system. No second shaft end, so you won't be mounting a brake valve or an external encoder on the back.
