It protects distribution circuits against overload (thermal element) and short-circuit (magnetic element) per EN/IEC 60947-2.
At 440 V that drops to 20 kA; at 500 V to 15 kA. For a 400 V distribution board fed by a 630 kVA transformer (typical fault level around 18–22 kA), this breaker sits comfortably within its envelope.
The TM-D trip unit is thermal-magnetic: the thermal bimetal handles overloads (L protection) with an inverse-time curve; the magnetic coil handles short-circuits (I protection) with a fixed instantaneous threshold. No electronic adjustment, no ground-fault module — this is the fixed-characteristic variant for straightforward distribution where you don't need selective coordination tuning. Rated 50 A at 50 °C; derate per IEC 60947-2 if ambient exceeds that.
Front connections both top and bottom — no rear-access requirement. Width 105 mm, height 161 mm, depth 86 mm.
