The Schneider Electric C10H6TM040 is a ComPacT NSX100H moulded-case circuit breaker with a 40 A TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit, 4 poles, and a 100 kA interrupting capacity at 240 V AC. It is designed for distribution applications per EN/IEC 60947-2, with a toggle control and front-front connections. The 40 A rating at 40 °C means it protects a 40 A feeder or load without derating in a standard 40 °C panel ambient — above that, apply the manufacturer's thermal curve.
At 415 V AC the rating drops to 70 kA Icu, and at 690 V AC it holds 10 kA Icu — all per IEC 60947-2. For UL 60947-4-1 applications, the 480 V AC rating is 65 kA Icu.
Mounts flat on a backplate in horizontal or vertical orientation. The 4-pole footprint is 140 mm wide by 161 mm high by 86 mm deep — fits standard panel cutouts. IK07 impact rating means it survives a 2 J tool drop during wiring.
