80 A MCCB with 100 kA interrupting capacity
It carries a 100 kA Icu at 220/240 V AC and 70 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC, both per EN/IEC 60947-2 — enough headroom for most distribution boards and motor branch circuits without cascading upstream. The 4-pole design with neutral on the left and front-facing connections suits panel layouts where access to terminations is tight. The toggle control gives a clear visual break for lockout-tagout.
The H breaking capacity code delivers 70 kA Icu at 415 V AC, 65 kA at 440 V, 50 kA at 500 V, 35 kA at 525 V, and 10 kA at 690 V AC. Under UL 60947-4-1 it holds 85 kA at 240 V, 65 kA at 480 V, and 10 kA at 600 V AC. That spread covers 480Y/277 V and 400 V industrial services without an additional current-limiting fuse.
Durability and environmental ratings
Mechanical durability is 50,000 cycles; electrical durability reaches 50,000 cycles at 440 V at half rated current, 30,000 at full rated current, and 10,000 at 690 V full rated. That is typical for a distribution-grade MCCB — fine for infrequent switching, not for a motor starter duty cycle.
Five accessory slots accept auxiliary contacts, shunt trips, or under-voltage releases without removing the breaker from the panel.
