The C10H6TM016C is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX100H moulded-case circuit breaker with a 16 A TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit, 4 poles, and a 70 kA breaking capacity at 415 V AC.
That figure drops to 50 kA at 500 V and 35 kA at 525 V, so selectivity studies should use the voltage at the fault point, not the system nominal. At 690 V it still interrupts 10 kA, enough for most motor-circuit faults in 690 V drives. Category A utilisation means this breaker is not intended for deliberate current-making under short-circuit conditions — it clears faults, it does not switch them.
Backplate-mounted with front-facing connections top and bottom. The 140 mm width, 161 mm height, and 86 mm depth fit standard ComPacT NSX cutouts in distribution panels. Mounts horizontally or vertically flat on the backplate — no derating required for orientation. IP40 front-face protection keeps out tools and fingers in a closed panel; IK07 impact resistance handles incidental knocks during commissioning.
