63 A 4P MCCB for distribution panels
The 63 A rating at 40 °C sets the continuous current limit for the branch circuit it protects — size the upstream feeder and downstream load conductors accordingly.
At 108 mm wide (12 module pitches of 9 mm), 137 mm high, and 80 mm deep, this breaker fits a standard backplate mount in a distribution board. The front-facing Everlink terminals accept 2.5–95 mm² rigid or stranded aluminium/copper, or 2.5–70 mm² flexible copper — one lug per pole, no adapter needed for the larger cable sizes common on a 63 A feed. IP40 front face and IK07 impact resistance are adequate for enclosed panel use; the breaker is not rated for washdown environments. The toggle control and flag indicator (green for auxiliary contact presence) give clear local status. Neutral is on the left, connections are front-to-front, and the breaker can be mounted horizontally or vertically flat on the backplate — useful when laying out a tight enclosure.
Isolation and coordination
The breaker is certified for isolation per IEC 60947-2 (suitability for isolation: yes), meaning it provides a visible break and meets the creepage/clearance distances required to safely isolate a circuit for maintenance. The 20,000-cycle electrical endurance at rated current (In) and 20,000-cycle mechanical endurance give a service life consistent with panel-mounted distribution breakers — not a switching device for frequent motor starts.
