The thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit provides inverse-time overload protection (thermal) and instantaneous short-circuit protection (magnetic), suited for general distribution and feeder circuits. Category A utilisation means it is not intended for selectivity under short-circuit conditions with other breakers downstream — coordination studies should account for this. The IP40 front face keeps out tools and small wires but not moisture; install in a dry enclosure. IK07 impact resistance handles low-energy mechanical shocks during panel work.
Mounts on a backplate in horizontal or vertical orientation, flat on the back. At 9 module pitches wide and 81 mm width, it occupies a defined footprint on the DIN rail or panel. Front connections top and bottom accept Everlink lugs: 2.5–70 mm² flexible copper or 2.5–95 mm² rigid/stranded. The toggle control gives clear visual indication; a green flag signals auxiliary contact presence.
