The Schneider Electric C12E4TM160L is a ComPacT NSXm moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated 160 A at 40 °C with a 4-pole (4P) configuration and a thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit.
The TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit gives you fixed thermal and magnetic settings — no adjustment dials, which simplifies ordering and stocking but means you must size the breaker to the load exactly. The 4P version switches all four poles, including the neutral, which is typical for TN-S or TT systems where you want full isolation. Mechanical durability is 20,000 cycles, electrical durability 20,000 cycles at 440 V In/2 and 10,000 cycles at 440 V In — so it's built for distribution duty (occasional switching), not for frequent motor starting. The Everlink lug terminals accept 2.5–70 mm² flexible copper or 2.5–95 mm² rigid/stranded copper. That's a wide wire range — you can land a 95 mm² feeder on the line side and tap a 2.5 mm² branch on the load side without adapters. The 12-module 9 mm pitch (108 mm wide) gives you a sense of the panel space it occupies.
