What this breaker does — and the rating that decides the fit
Mounts on a backplate in horizontal or vertical orientation, flat on the back. The 4-pole footprint takes 12 module pitches at 9 mm each — 108 mm wide, 137 mm high, 80 mm deep. Connections are front-facing for compression lugs or busbars. Neutral is on the left. The IP40 enclosure keeps out tools and wires over 1 mm, but it is not sealed against water — mount in a dry indoor panel. IK07 impact rating handles accidental tool drops.
Trip unit and selectivity
Category A means it is not specifically designed for selectivity under short-circuit conditions with downstream breakers; coordinate with the manufacturer's selectivity tables if you need cascaded fault isolation. The breaker is suitable for isolation — you can use it as a visible-break disconnect. Electrical durability is 20,000 cycles at rated current and 440 V, half that at 2× In; mechanical durability is 20,000 cycles.
