The Schneider Electric C160H4FM is a basic frame in the ComPacT NS630b...1600 new generation range, rated 1600 A at 50 °C. It is a 4-pole, fixed-mount, manually operated frame without a control unit — you add the trip unit and auxiliaries to match the protection scheme.
That gives the site electrical engineer room to coordinate downstream breakers without cascading the full fault — the Icw of 19.2 kA for 1 s supports delayed-tripping selectivity schemes.
Fixed backplate mount, 280 mm wide by 224 mm tall by 147 mm deep. Connection pitch is 70 mm. Neutral position is left. The fixed format means you bolt the busbars directly; no draw-out cradle, so plan for isolation via upstream switching or the frame's own suitability-for-isolation marking per EN/IEC 60947-2.
The C160H4FM is a current-production item in Schneider's ComPacT NS new generation line. No end-of-life notice has been issued.
The 1600 A rating is at 50 °C ambient; derate per the IEC 60947-2 thermal curve for higher enclosure temperatures. Category B supports selectivity with an external trip unit.
