The C16B3TM160C is a 3-pole ComPacT NSX160B molded-case circuit breaker from Schneider Electric, carrying a 160 A thermal-magnetic trip unit (TM-D) rated at 50 °C. This is a current-production part. If you're filling a BOM line or replacing a failed unit in an existing NSX160B panel, this is the direct drop-in.
Breaking capacity and what it means for your line
The Icu ratings are 40 kA at 240 V, 25 kA at 415 V, 20 kA at 440 V, and 15 kA at 500 V.
Mounting and environment
The 105 mm width, 161 mm height, and 86 mm depth fit the standard NSX160B cutout — no panel rework needed if you're swapping into an existing ComPacT lineup.
Electrical durability and isolation
Rated for 40,000 mechanical cycles and 20,000 electrical cycles at full rated current (440 V In). That's a solid service life for a distribution breaker — you're not replacing it every couple of years in normal duty. It's also certified as a disconnecting (isolating) switch per EN/IEC 60947-2, so you can use it as the main disconnect in a panel without a separate isolator.
