The 100 kA Icu at 240 V AC is the maximum short-circuit current the breaker can interrupt once and remain functional; at 415 V that drops to 70 kA, at 440 V to 65 kA, and at 690 V to 10 kA. The TM-D trip unit provides L (thermal overload, adjustable) and I (magnetic short-circuit, fixed) protection; no earth-leakage module is built in, so that would be an external add-on if required.
Mounting and integration notes
Mounts to a backplate (not DIN rail) — flat on the back, either horizontal or vertical. The 35 mm connection pitch matches standard busbar systems. IP40 enclosure protection (no washdown rating) and IK07 impact resistance — suitable for enclosed panel installation, not for wet or outdoor locations without a separate enclosure. Electrical durability is 40,000 cycles at 440 V at half rated current, 20,000 cycles at full rated current; mechanical durability is 40,000 cycles. That is typical for a moulded-case breaker in distribution duty — not a switching device for frequent motor starts.
