Panel fit and protection profile
The TM-D provides L (thermal overload) and I (magnetic short-circuit) protection, making it a straightforward choice for distribution boards where earth-leakage is handled separately — the unit ships without integral earth-leakage protection. Breaking capacity is the headline here: 70 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC, 50/60 Hz per IEC 60947-2. That puts it in the H (high) breaking capacity class — enough for most industrial main switchboards and large distribution panels where fault currents can hit 50–70 kA. At 480 V AC the UL rating is 65 kA Icu, so the part carries dual IEC/UL certification for export or mixed-standard plants.
Front connections top and bottom simplify busbar or cable routing in a panel. The 161 mm height, 140 mm width, and 86 mm depth fit standard ComPacT cutouts; the 35 mm connection pitch matches common busbar systems. IP40 protection and IK07 impact resistance handle normal panel conditions — not washdown, but fine inside a lockable enclosure. The toggle control is manual; no motor operator or rotary handle fitted as standard.
