DC distribution breaker for 750 V rail protection
It delivers 36 kA Icu breaking capacity at 750 V DC with three poles in series, per EN/IEC 60947-2 — enough to clear a hard fault on a 750 V DC bus without cascading upstream. The 4D protected-pole configuration (four poles, all DC-rated) makes it a straight fit for ungrounded DC distribution in industrial switchgear, UPS output feeders, or traction battery banks.
Above 40 °C, derate per the IEC 60947-2 thermal curve (the spec table notes derating above 2000 m altitude). The TM-DC trip unit combines a thermal bimetal for overload protection (L) and a magnetic coil for short-circuit protection (I) — no electronic adjustments, so set the magnetic pickup at the factory-calibrated threshold.
Mounting and enclosure integration
Fixed-mount on a backplate, 185 mm wide, 255 mm high, 110 mm deep — the 45 mm pole pitch matches standard busbar or cable-finger layouts. Front connections top and bottom simplify panel wiring. Horizontal or vertical mounting allowed; flat on the back. IK07 impact rating handles incidental tool drops during commissioning.
